Sunnybrook Restoration
Sunnybrook Foundation board members, John Giese Sr., Bruce Weeber and Thomas Sephakis
The Sunnybrook Foundation is currently seeking corporate sponsorship for this project. It plans to restore the site, with the exception of the brewery and pool. The restored facility will be available for future community events and private functions. On Saturday March 17th area community volunteers, including our members, worked for several hours removing debris from the facility.
Foundation members hope to see a community facility with an outdoor stage
and an indoor ballroom. They also plan to have some large fundraising events at the site by July 4th with hopes that the entire site is open by fall.
Below are several shots taken of our members tearing down ceiling tiles and insulation
from an area that has suffered water damage.
There were some items that were salvagable and others that unfortunatly were beyond saving.
We were asked to remove a tree - no problem......
There was, however, ONE CASUALTY
