New Accountability System

This month our members are placing into service a new fire ground accountability system!

The Passport Accountability System has been part of a regionalization effort across Montgomery County. Accountability is important on the fire ground as it allows the incident commanders to know where the firefighters are operating on location of an incident as well as their fire ground responsibility. This system is replacing our traditional three tag system and will allow for easier and better tracking of personnel. The Passport Accountability System originated from the Seattle Fire Department and is used by departments across the country.
