**Working Fire** Monday morning shortly after 4AM crews from Sanatoga were dispatched to a report of a trash fire to the rear of a residence in the Walnut Ridge Estates neighborhood. Shortly after dispatch the incident was upgraded to a Building Fire adding volunteers from Ringing Hill Fire Company due to additional calls reporting fire spreading to the residence. AC58 arrived and confirmed smoke showing and the working fire assignment was transmitted bringing Rescue 69 (Goodwill) for RIT (reassigned to search), Engine 51 (Limerick) and Engine 64-5(Norco). Upon arrival Quint 58 stretched an 1.75" hoseline to the rear to begin extinguishment while the crew from Rescue 69 completed a primary search and located extension into the roof area. Crews from 69 stretched a secondary 1.75" hoseline and opened up and extinguished the fire in the attic area. Rescue 37 was added as the next due RIT and Engine 69 (North End) and Engine 57 (West End) were called for additional manpower. The fire place placed under control in approximately 30 minutes with crews remaining on scene until 9:30AM. No injuries were reported during this incident. Special thanks to Gilbertsville Fire & Rescue Co. for providing coverage for the township while we operated at the fire scene. (Photos from The Sanatoga Post, Gilbertsville Fire Rescue)
