This morning at 0527hrs units were dispatched to the 100blk of Danny Way for a report of a hot tub on fire to the rear. Due to proximity to the house, the assignment was upgraded to a Building Fire bringing Ringing Hill Fire Co to assist. DC58 arrived and confirmed a working hot tub and deck fire that was extending to the residence and requested the WFD bringing assistance from Rescue 69 (Pottstown) Engine 51 (Limerick) and Engine 64-5 (Norco). Quint 58 arrived and secured their own water supply and stretched an 1.75" handline to the rear to quickly contain the fire and limit damage to exterior siding while crews from Ringing Hill Fire Company checked the interior for any extension and secured utilities.
