At 11:55 Sanatoga and Ringing Hill Fire Companies were alerted to a field fire in the area of 1000 Armand Hammer Blvd. CH58 arrived to find a 40x40 area burning on the old Occidental Chemical plant property, and requested Limerick Fire Dept for their brush trucks. Upon further investigation Peco advised there was a downed power line. Once Peco was able to secure the power lines crews extinguished the fire.
