Tonight, sixteen of our dedicated volunteers participated in an in-station Utility Awareness for First Responders course presented by PECO.
The course addressed best practices for responding to electric and gas emergencies. In addition, there was a discussion about the type of information first responders can provide to help PECO ensure that appropriate troubleshooting and repair crews are dispatched, helping to expedite the repair process.
