Last week four of our members were among those recognized by Lower Pottsgrove Township for their efforts in helping mitigate a broken sprinkler pipe at the township office during a cold snap on December 26th, 2022. Also recognized were members of Ringing Hill Fire Company, Lower Pottsgrove Township Police Department and Director of Public Works John Fogel. Personnel from all entities worked together to quickly shut down the water to the broken pipe and remove flooded water with brooms and shop-vacs to limit the damage to the building and its contents. Members receiving Letters of Commendation were Fire Chief Eric Linsenbigler, Firefighter James Krieger, Firefighter Tyler Pennypacker and Firefighter Ricky Lewiski.
